Behold, The Lamb of God - what a great tour. It couldn't have been a better experience. The Artists and crew are some of the best people in the world, and they welcomed me into their fold. There were 18 shows in 20 days, i think. We played some great places - including two nights at the Ryman Auditorium. Thanks, AP.
a compilation of some great music coming out of nashville. two records i produced each released a song on the album. go check them out:
I'm so excited to be producing 7-8 songs with Jillian Edwards. She is soo talented, and writes GREAT songs. I did some pre-production at my place, and we did most of the tracking in two weeks in Nashville. Her husband, Will Chapman, played drums, I played bass, Caleb Chapman and I split the electric guitar duties, and Jill played most of the acoustics. She plays most of her shows by herself, so we're also trying to represent what she does live with the production some of these songs.
I haven't done a record like this in a while, and i'm having a blast.
Just finished up editing a Christmas record for Brandon Heath, which is being produced by the amazing Ben Shive. It's pretty great stuff, and had some great players (too many to name), engineers (Buckley Miller, Andy Hunt), and was mixed by The Great Shane D. Wilson.
